Pottery on the Wheel
The Torri Superiore Pottery Workshop produces tableware (cups, vases, bowls and more) entirely manufactured by hand. All pieces are cast on the wheel, refined and coloured with engobe (coloured clay), and/or enamel. All materials used are lead-free and non toxic, and are suitable for food use. The clay is cooked at 1150°C, a high temperature that produces very resistant tableware that can be washed in the dishwasher.
The Pottery Workshop also offers courses of pottery on the wheel for small groups of adults (maximum 3 people) and practical classes for children on different techniques of working with clay.
Individual lessons are available at Euro 25/hour, materials included.
