| The "Torri Superiore" Cultural Association was founded in 1989 with the aim of restoring and re-habilitating the abandoned medieval village, to support the settlement of new residents and the birth of an ecovillage and cultural centre open to the public. The Association has about 30 members, and is based on principles of sustainability, cooperation, and solidarity. The Association does not have declared ideological or political stands, and adopts a non-religious cultural policy. Guidelines for the overall direction of the ecovillage are decided by the General Assembly of Members, which takes place twice a year (in November and April). The Council of Directors meets normally every two to three months. |

| The Association owns a large part of the village, now used as a cultural centre and managed by the Ture Nirvane Cooperative Company. The Company was founded in 2000 among members of the association to complete the restoration of the cultural centre and to start the activities and guest programmes. |
